Upper Hand skills
Upper Hand Skills is designed to help players master the fundamentals of skating, passing, stickhandling, and shooting. The camp focuses on building a strong foundation in the basics before progressing to more advanced techniques—giving players the upper hand on the ice and over their opponents.
Daily Structure:
Two On-Ice Sessions Per Day
Each day includes two high-intensity ice sessions focused on skill development and situational application.
Off-Ice Training & Education
Between ice sessions, players will learn how to properly warm up for games, tryouts, and practices. They will also participate in off-ice drills designed to build strength, speed, and overall athletic performance. Education will be led by video and Assistant coach of the Varsity team, JP Chua in a 30-minute classroom setting each day.
Group Lunch
All players will eat lunch together between sessions, encouraging team bonding and camaraderie.
Recovery & Preparation
At the end of each day, players will receive instruction on proper recovery techniques to optimize performance and prevent injury.
